Simpson owned and operated her own law firm beginning in 1995 after working with another partner in private practice from 1987 through March of 1995. Her commitment to providing one-stop service for real estate, dealing with municipalities and county governments, as well as development of sub surface matters, like oil and gas and water clients led to an expanded practice where she could provide legal services in, finance, banking, entity set up and estate planning, incorporating full spectrum title expertise.

Honored as a Southern Trailblazer in 2021 by The American Lawyer magazine, Simpson is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, the Collin County Bar Association, the Texas Bar Foundation, and the Texas Bar College.
